Software Engineer 80 – 100% (W/M)

We are a Swiss company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-precision CNC machines. We operate in a “4.0” working environment providing comprehensive solutions to our international clientele to develop precision tools. 

In order to pursue our development and complete our R&D teams, we are looking for a future colleague who meets the following criteria:

YOUR FIELD OF ACTIVITY:

  • Collaboration on projects from the concept phase to final acceptance
  • Independent programming of workflows and processes
  • Development, conception, implementation as well as test of software / HMI
  • Commissioning of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic axes, robots, I/O’s, safety, interfaces, vision applications, control system, etc.
  • Daily handling of Beckhoff and the IEC 61131-3 structured text language
  • Occasional assignments at the customer, at home and abroad
  • Collaboration in the concept creation of new plants and their estimation

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Technician (ES) / Engineer (bachelor) in the field of automation, embedded industrial computing, system technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent education
  • Several years of practical experience in independent PLC programming with IEC 61131-3 ST is required. Other programming languages are an advantage
  • Experience with NUM controls, STAUBLI VAL 3 or FANUC TPE / KAREL advantageous
  • Experience in image processing, robotics as well as commissioning of plants
  • Independent, structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working with a lot of personal responsibility
  • Ability to work in project mode with other departments
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies
  • Good English skills are required but French or German is your mother tong
